This is the best meal I’ve ever had in my life. We had a small language barrier as unfortunately we don’t speak any Spanish but the owner was more than accommodating. He was very attentive and welcoming. The food was phenomenal you could mistake this restaurant for a 5 star Michelin restaurant. If you are in Spain you must visit this well kept secret for the best meal of your life.

Not sure where I’d come across this place online, but I had it marked as a place to visit and I’m very glad I did. I was one of 2 tables but I got the impression had it been full I’d have got the same amazing friendly service I experienced. I didn’t get the owner’s name, but he was great, as was the younger server. I had the salmorejo (which is the first I had) which was excellent, followed by the squid a la plancha. They’d warned me there was a lot of squid coming and they weren’t lying. Just about got through it all as it was very tasty. Nicely presented and cooked perfectly. Only complaint was that it was a little over-salted for my taste, but not enough to ruin it. I hadn’t planned on getting a dessert but he insisted on bringing me something and I’m glad I didn’t turn him down. From what I understood (the gentleman unfortunately has something going on with his throat so he’s a little difficult to hear + my Spanish isn’t the best), it was something the moors ate to aid digestion. He brought a plate of clementine segments drizzled with very nice olive oil, and sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar. Never tasted anything like it but it was so simple. I also asked the owner for a white wine to have with my squid and he served me a nice glass of Chardonnay which was a surprise as most other restaurants seem to be quite limited in their wine offerings. Tried to go back with the whole family the day after but they were fully booked and had to eat around the corner. The owner seemed genuinely sorry and upset that he couldn’t serve us which I thought was sweet. Nice place

Far from the main and touristy area, this restaurant offered authentic cuisine and an excellent service! The waiter was very happy to help us and explain the dishes to us. The food was very tasty and reasonably priced! The chorizo sausages stood out! Highly recommended!

I spent over an hour searching online to find the perfect local restaurant and this one exceeded my expectations. The host was attentive and provided the most delicious lunch which included Andalusian specialties. It is only slightly outside the tourist hot zone and is in a charming neighborhood. We speak very little Spanish so the server spoke English which was very nice of him. The point of all this was the food and the food was a 10/10. We loved it all - Salmorejo, tuna and tomato salad, grilled Iberian pork& artichoke with ham. I will dreaming of this meal for a long time.

Delicious and special plates and starters, very friendly and kind service from restaurant owner, language barrier cannot beat our communication he patiently and kindly introduced us the great choices. The fish in my photo and a plate with tomato+tuna+anchovie were impressively great thanks for the offered dessert ice cream. We really enjoyed each plate and they are all pretty good Gracias it's a very nice experience in Spain I highly recommend this restaurant

This was the best local Spanish meal we experienced on our trip. The owner is exceptionally customer-oriented. Knowing we only drink water, he ensured the dishes weren't overly salty. For example, with the grilled fish, the salt was on the side. Each dish was thoughtfully prepared to highlight the natural flavors.

A unique, bright local restaurant with an expert, inspired cook. He inherited it from his parents, for whom it is named (Ann y Ferdinando). The younger co-owner served us, and he was eager to practice his very good English. The stuffed artichokes were among the best things I’ve eaten so far in Spain. The small fried fish were very delicate.
